BASIC BOATING Successful completion of this course meets all of Connecticut requirements and qualifies the student to operate both conventional vessels and jet-ski type(pwc) boats.

KNOW YOUR GPS This class provides an overview of the GPS satellite system along with a basic understanding of how satellite navigation operates and the advantages and disadvantages of relying on electronic navigation devices.
VESSEL SAFETY CHECK A vessel safety check is a courtesy examination of your boat (vessel) to verity the presence and condition of certain safety equipment required by the State of Connecticut and federal regulations. The vessel examiner is a trained specialist of the U S Coast Guard Auxiliary. They will also make certain recommendations and discuss safety issues that will make you a safe boater.
