This one day course, taught by the U.S Coast Guard Auxiliary, is designed as an introduction to the world of navigation using GPS. The class provides an overview of the GPS satellite system along with a basic understanding of how satellite navigation operates and the advantages & disadvantages of relying on electronic navigation devices. You will learn GPS navigation skills for any boat,
anywhere; discover all the functions of your GPS, from basic to the most advanced; how to interface your GPS with a PC, RADAR, or AUTOPILOT; How to navigate with GPS using waypoints and routes, and become an informed GPS buyer & user.
COST FOR THIS CLASS IS $55.00 PER STUDENT
