Navigation is the science of knowing where you are and how to get where you want to be. Spend a half-day with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and learn how to read charts, the importance of tide tables, and the sources of compass error (and how to correct for them). Also covered will be easy methods to compute your speed,time, or distance and how to make a DR (dead reckoning) plot.
